Warfare

Warfare is a powerful collection of eight paintings and four drawings that confront the spiritual battles fought within — the struggle between who we are, who we fear becoming, and who we hope to be.

These works stand at that decisive edge where the heart must choose: to step into the darkness of anger, revenge, and wounded identity, or to surrender to grace — to forgive, to heal, and to be transformed.

Here, black becomes the symbol of trauma and temptation, while white and red represent cleansing and the blood of Christ. Each artwork is a window into the intimate fight for one’s own soul.

Malerato

Malerato is a compelling body of work consisting of four paintings, four garment-based sculptures, and six photographs that explore the intersection of lived reality and imagined royalty. Inspired by the artist’s discovery of her own Basotho royal lineage, the series asks: How does it feel to be born into royalty yet grow up living an ordinary life?

The alter ego, Malerato — meaning mother of love — embodies a queen shaped from the artist’s own childhood memories, family traditions, and everyday experiences. Through Malerato, these personal and ordinary elements are elevated into symbols of royal identity, transforming mundane cultural practices into refined routines and the everyday into the majestic. The series navigates identity, inheritance, and possibility, offering a door into a parallel reality where the artist’s royal heritage is fully expressed.

Selected works from the Malerato series are shown below.

One-of-One Originals

A growing collection of spontaneous, intuitive paintings created outside my major bodies of work. These pieces are one-of-one originals born from moments of raw inspiration, emotion, and creative impulse. Each stands alone, carrying its own story.
